Begging Angels is a Western New York Americana Band playing both covers and originals, they have tried to keep it interesting by performing a variety of music.
Todd began his musical career as a drummer in a heavy metal band in his teens and later learned his passion for guitar and vocals. Kelly began singing at a young age in school choirs but was always influenced by a highly musical family and was exposed to a diverse range of music. When they met, it was meant to be both in life and music.
In November, 2016, they began writing together, performing publicly on a regular basis and formed Begging Angels. In December, 2017, they started adding members to the Begging Angels family seeking to form a full band. The current lineup consists of Todd Romig (rhythm guitar, lead & background vocals), Kelly Romig (lead & background vocals), Jim Osterman (lead guitar), Tom Smith (bass guitar and background vocals), Billy McGrath (drums) and in 2024 added Zach Reed to the lineup who will be joining them regularly on bass guitar but for this performance, being a multi-instrumentalist, will be playing keys.
