The Stewie Evans Trio plays standards and contemporary jazz, jazzy interpretations of pop tunes, and original compositions. The trio’s members are: Monk Catallo (keyboards, composer), formerly of the Trouvaille Quintet. Jim Blease (drums), was an original member of the Rochester jazz trio/quartet The Westview Project, and most recently played in the Chris Ott Trio. Bruce Blaine (bass) played with the Hochstein Jazz Ensemble and most recently the Chris Ott Trio.
